The Nannette Dahlgren Scholarship was established in 2010 by her parents, Tom and Diane Voss of Peoria, Arizona, to honor her memory.
Nannette was a single mother raising three children and going to nursing school to have a career to help provide a better living for herself and her children. She was a very dedicated mother with a great passion for the medical field. Nannette was a “mother” to all her classmates and strived to see them succeed in their careers along with her. Her dream of becoming a nurse was cut short when she suddenly passed away due to illness.
The faculty and staff of Ivy Tech Community College were so compassionate at the time of her passing that it was only natural for us to choose this school for her memorial. The Nannette Dahlgren Scholarship Fund helps a single parent pursuing a nursing degree at Ivy Tech Community College without regard to grade point average or gender.
May this scholarship fund continue to help carry on her dream in the nursing profession through other students.
