Welcome to the Ivy Tech scholarship application!

We appreciate your interest in our scholarships that have been provided by Ivy Tech and generous donors interested in assisting Ivy Tech students with their education and career goals.

IMPORTANT: Consideration for scholarships requires annual submission.

Basic Eligibility Criteria and Guidelines:

• Before beginning the application, we suggest you complete a scholarship search so that you are familiar with the detailed requirements of the scholarships specific to each Ivy Tech campus.
• Complete the Ivy Tech Community College Application for Admission and enroll at any Ivy Tech campus.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) including the Ivy Tech school code 009917.  If selected for verification, submit all required documentation.
• Applicants must follow all instructions.
• Applicants will be considered for all scholarships for which they qualify.
• Completing the scholarship application and meeting scholarship criteria does not guarantee applicants will be awarded a scholarship.
• Federal regulations require that we consider all resources when determining eligibility for financial aid.  Awarded scholarships may change other awarded financial aid.  In many cases it will reduce your federal student loan and/or federal work-study awards.
• Applicants should pay close attention to grammar, spelling and completeness as these factors will be considered during the selection process.
• Minimum word essays are required for many scholarships.  Applicants who do not meet the minimum word-count may be removed from consideration.
• Applicants must meet the minimum enrolled hours required for each scholarship.
• Some scholarships require a letter of recommendation.  If you are submitting your application close to the scholarship deadline, please be aware of the time restraints that may be put on the recommender.
• All scholarship decisions are made by committee.
• Applicants will receive decision notifications electronically through the applicants Ivy Tech e-mail address.
• If you are awarded a scholarship, you may be required to write a thank-you note.  All scholarships awarded by Ivy Tech are made possible by contributions from generous donors. A thank-you note is a meaningful way for a donor to understand the impact a scholarship has made in the life of the student recipients.
• Once an application has been submitted, it cannot be accessed for changes. Incomplete applications will not be considered for scholarships.
